Boston Red Sox and Verizon Wireless join to Collect Wireless Phones to Benefit Domestic Violence Survivors

No-Longer-Used Wireless Phones to Be Collected at Red Sox Games on August
                            13th, 14th & 15th

  WHO:      Verizon Wireless, the nation's most reliable wireless carrier,
            and The Boston Red Sox, New England's favorite major league
            baseball team, are collecting wireless phones to benefit
            domestic violence survivors.

  WHAT:     The Verizon Wireless HopeLine program collects no-longer-used
            wireless phones and accessories from any wireless service
            provider, and then refurbishes the phones or recycles them in an
            environmentally friendly way.

  WHY:      Proceeds from the HopeLine program benefit survivors of domestic
            violence and non-profit advocacy agencies by funding wireless
            phones, wireless services, and financial grants.

  WHEN:     Monday, August 13, 2007        5:00pm - 7:30pm
            Tuesday, August 14, 2007       5:00pm - 7:30pm
            Wednesday, August 15, 2007     11:00am - 1:30pm

  WHERE:    Fenway Park, Boston Massachusetts

            

Verizon Wireless representatives will be stationed at Gates
            A, B & C to collect phones and answer question regarding the
            HopeLine program.
